Terms of sale

Who you're buying from

Ribbon is made by Vikas Veshishth. Orders are processed by Dodo Payments, our online reseller and merchant of record. Dodo handles payment, sales tax and VAT, and your invoice.

What you get

A one-time payment buys a lifetime licence for the version you buy and every future update. A licence key works on as many Macs as you paid for (1, 3, 5 or 20). You can move a licence to another Mac by deactivating it in Ribbon on the old Mac first. Keys are for you or your team; please don't share or resell them.

Requirements

Ribbon needs an Apple silicon Mac (M1 or later) with macOS 13 Ventura or later, and the Accessibility permission, which you grant in System Settings. Please check that your Mac meets these and try the demo on our home page before you buy.

All sales are final

Because Ribbon is a digital product delivered instantly, all sales are final and we don't offer refunds. If Ribbon doesn't work on your Mac, email us. We'll do our best to fix it.

Updates and support

Updates are free. Support is by email at vikas.ideacheck@gmail.com. We can't promise a fix for every Mac setup or every app.

Privacy

Ribbon runs on your Mac and doesn't read what's on your screen or send your windows anywhere. It only goes online to check your licence key and look for updates.

No warranty

Ribbon is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses from using it. Ribbon's window engine is built on Paneru, which is MIT licensed.
